ECBS Links Page. If there's a site which you think we should be linking to, or would like to have a link here, then please let us know Please see our articles page, which has some interesting articles about Bowen, as well as some others which might be of interest.
www.BCMA.co.uk The home of the UK's largest representative body for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. A listing of all the members and a small (due to the cost) and not brilliantly representative register of practitioners in various fields. Good information on up to date issues concering therapies and therapists. www.savant-health.com We talk a lot about the health benefits of Udo's oil, which is a great source of Omega 3, 6 & 9. Well here's the place to get it, along with the best juicing machine in the world, (probably)!
www.relieve-childhood-asthma.com A site put together by an ECBS teacher, Alastair Rattray, examining the effects of The Bowen Technique on childhood asthma. It includes a number of case histories and questions as well as a technique for use in an emergency www.chlopro.demon.co.uk   The site for Chlorella Products. Chllorella is a form of algae which is a great source of anti-oxidants and this is probably the cheapest and best place to buy it from. Efficient and friendly they will dispatch orders on the same day and also give a good practitioner discount. Check out the Chlorella noodles! Also stockists of other anti-oxidant products and the impressive Wild Yam tablets.s
www.thethoughtfulbody.com The home of Rachel Swindle, one of the UK's top Pilates instructors and a keen Bowen advocate and therapist. Has a free pelvic floor exercise sheet and information about the Pilates foundation. www.dorway.com An interesting site about aspartame. Denied as being unhealthy by its manufacturers (naturally) it is one of the biggest sources of food related complaint in the USA. I slightly excitable site, but with a vast amount of information.
www.bartleby.com A great resource, the complete Grays Anatomy, with colour pictures and illustrations at excellent resolution. Free to use and access the site also has other classic literature freely available. Dostoevsky anyone?

www.nutrasanus.com Very useful resource site about virtually every vitamin, herb and supplement that you can think of. Non commercial and well laid out, really useful stuff. Also building a good links page

www.physique.uk.com A commercial site which has a host of useful stuff to buy, including fitballs, bungee bands, therapy tables and a book on The Bowen Technique! www.notmilk.com Another American site this time looking at the subject of dairy products. Again huge resources and a massive amount of information with a few juicy conspiracy theories thrown in for good measure. Informative if a bit paranoid sometimes.
www.pilates.co.uk You can't turn around these days without Pilates being on offer somewhere, and for good reason. One of the best forms of rehabilitative exercise that I know of, many Bowen clients will end up in a Pilates class. As with other modalites there is quite a bit of politics in Pilates, but this simple site allows you to search for an instructor or studio in your area. Worth a look www.bowen.org A North American site run by Joanne Whittaker, it contains good resource material for those looking for more background to the effects of Bowen and also offers courses in the Florida area.
www.theseedinstitute.co.uk  A site offering Aromatherapy, Ayurveda and Kiniesiology courses but linked here mainly for the Anatomy and Physiology courses that they offer. Sue Hagan and Alison Perrott are also both Bowen therapists. www.nutricentre.co.uk We suspect this is an extension of Tesco's, but it does sell Udo's choice at a good price as well as a good range of books and other health related produce

  Links to Therapist Websites
www.raphaelholisticcentre.com The Website for the Raphael Holistic Centre and Bowen therapist Vanda Tor, bases in Darwen Lancashire. Nice flowing site with facility to book appointments and info on other therapies available. www.b-balanced.co.uk    The home of Angelika Breukers a Bowen therapist based in Swindon. Information on treatments and with client letters
www.physio-bowen.co.uk   Home of Lianne Webb, a chartered physiotherapist and Bowen therapist. Well laid out and easy on the eye, with case histories and a good outline of Bowen. www.therapiesforall.co.uk Mike Barlow's website outilining the range of treatments he offers and some feedback from clients
