Each module can be taken with any teacher in any venue or country that suits the individual. The first ever system of formal assessment in The Bowen Technique was introduced by E.C.B.S. in 1998 and in 1999 was expanded to consist of a practical examination and a written paper. Anyone not attaining the pass level required can retake the assessment at a later date at no extra charge.

Advanced modules are available after accreditation featuring elements of light touch therapy never taught before. In addition other workshops are offered to accredited students, including Sports Injuries, Homeopathy and Bowen, Back Pain Management, Shoulder, Pelvic and other specific areas, Mother and Baby workshops. The ECBS advanced courses demonstrate dozens of new procedures as well as showing students how to step outside the restrictions of standard procedures.

1. Part One £350 (Course Dates) (from 1st Feb 2008 £395)

The E.C.B.S four day Part One Introductory Course to The Bowen Technique is designed to give a solid grounding in the theory and practice of the technique. It is structured to give clear and detailed instruction, visual demonstration, anecdotal information and, most importantly, plenty of supervised hands-on experience for the student as the basic moves of the therapy are mastered. E.C.B.S. Detailed and illustrated teaching notes will be provided on the course.

Upon completion of Part One, students will have a working knowledge of the technique which will enable them to continue their learning through further independent practice. In order to establish a level of understanding and proficiency, those students who wish to progress through the subsequent training levels will be asked to record ten treatments (30 sessions) prior to Part Threel, for which a log book will be provided on the course. A further ten cases are required as part of the Part Fivel assessment level. Details of this are given on the relevant levels.

Between training dates, E.C.B.S teachers and office staff are available to advise students and provide any help that may be needed. Our policy is support and backup at all times.
